About Hughtown (St Mary's)

The port of St Mary's at Hughtown is a private harbour run by the Duchy of Cornwall. Around 2,000 yachts visit each year, and harbour users also include fishing boats, local boat owners, inter island passenger launches and the vessels used for the connections to the mainland.

As a Competent Harbour Authority, pilotage is provided for the islands which currently have around 25 visiting cruise ships per year, along with sail training vessels, large yachts and special cargo deliveries.
