About Lynmouth

Lynmouth is a village resort made popular in Victorian times during which it became affectionately known as Little Switzerland. The harbour was once used for by coastal schooners bringing in coal from Wales, though nowadays it is used almost exclusively by leisure craft.

The harbour dries out at low water, as can be seen in the final photo under 'More Photos'.
