About Arinagour (Coll)

Aringaour is located at the head of Loch Eatharna on the island of Coll's eastern coastline. It is the main port and principal settlement of the island. The Isle of Coll which is 13 miles long and 3 miles wide in parts is about 50 miles out from the West Coast of Scotland, the nearest mainland port being Oban. The ferries run 3 times a week in the winter and 5 days a week in the summer and take about 2½ hours.

There are some locally-owned moorings in Arinagour Bay available at £10 per night. They are located just north of the ferry pier.

There are three piers at Arinagour: the New, the Middle and the Old. The New Pier (southernmost) is where the Calmac ferry berths. There is a new pier office and waiting room.

The Middle and Old piers are in the village itself. The Old Pier is maintained by Argyll and Bute Council.
