About Dales Voe

The eastern mouth of Yell Sound leads into the miniature sea lochs of Dales Voe, Collafirth, and Swining Voe situated on the east mainland of Shetland. The large salmon farms in the area make night navigation unwise.

The jetty is used to service oil rigs, as can be seen in the photo above.
