About Carsaig (Mull)

The pier was built in 1850 by Joseph Mitchell for the British Fisheries Commission. This now crumbling structure is situated at the end of a no-through road leading south from the A849 Craignure to Fionnphort road. The pier featured in the 1940s Michael Powell film 'I know Where I'm Going'.

Formerly used by lobster fishermen, it is now in danger of complete collapse.
