About Barrow Haven

Situated some 22 miles west of Spurn Point on the south bank of the River Humber, Old Ferry Wharf can accommodate vessels up to 120m in length and 3100dwt, with spring tide drafts in excess of 5m. Vessels may sit safely aground at low tide.

Typical commodities handled include various bulk cargoes, bulk & palletised bags, steel sections and coils, bricks, tiles and finished goods both for import and export trades.

In addition to these cargoes the wharf and its 2½ acre storage yard have been heavily involved in the forwarding and distribution of Baltic timber products.

Craneage up to 7.5 tones is provided as standard by two mobile crawler units. Heavy lift craneage is available by prior arrangement.
