About Kirn

To keep pace with housing development and the growth of steamer traffic, a private company known as the Kirn Pier Company was formed in 1846. A new boat slip adjoining the Pier was built at the same time.

The jetty is now in a state of disrepair; it is no longer used and is not accessible.
