About Combe Martin
Until the end of the 19th century, the Combe Martin harbour used to be filled with coastal vessels. It was once a very prosperous harbour, exporting locally grown strawberries and hemp. There is now no evidence of a quay, except possibly at the very head of the bay, which dries out at most tides.Return to Former Harbours Map
